Getting to a State of Normal

I am not sure what it is, but I feel like things haven't been "normal" for quite some time. We have been in a state of transition for a long time now, and finally, I think we are done. Little Lady is getting old enough to haul around for long periods of time with minimal effort. Squeaker is less emotionally labile, which makes doing anything easier. Little Man is getting more and more independent. (Sometimes this is not easier.) Anyhow, I feel glad to be able to settle in and do "normal" things. For Daddy's birthday, we sent him off to a golf lesson and driving range. Then we met up with him for a nice hike in a local wildernessy area. The weather was gorgeous, and were it not for the whining, it would have been IDEAL. ;) It was nice to get out on a random weekday and spend time together. It wasn't stressful or rushed, or anything. We didn't have time constraints. It was lovely.
