The Snowball Effect

No, we don't have frigid temps in June... actually the weather is quite pleasant -- mid 70s, dry with a good breeze. The snowball effect I am referring to is what we are discovering when we make one simple decision, and a billion or more decisions have just presented themselves. Our 'simple' decision was to put our house on the market. So, after setting up appointments with realtors for next week, I realized, we need to make many many many more decisions in the near future...

1. What do we do with all our stuff (clutter, toys, miscellaneous junk that makes our house look messy)?
2. What are our priorities in terms of finishing projects??? Do we replace the siding or paint? Do we reseed the lawn or just leave it? Do we powerwash the pool deck alone or repaint it too? Do we finish up our landscaping plans, or leave it as is (which isn't bad)? Do we unbabyproof so people can see our house and get into cabinets? Do we get our thermostat checked out since it appears to be registering our house temp incorrectly?
3. Where will we live if our house sells before we find a job in CA?
4. How can we keep our house in tip-top condiditon to show it to prospective buyers when we have a 19 mo old???
5. Should i start calling OBs and Pediatricians in CA or just wait, and if i wait, is that too long?
6. Do i schedule my c-section like my OB recommended for delivery in NOVEMBER???

We are not really 'decision-making' people, but I fear we will soon be very very good at it!

GOOD LUCK! All I can say is don't bother to redo the siding or unbabyproof and you can find some good deals on storage units for a short term rental if you look around at the non chain places. However it works out, we're so looking forward to having you back in CA eventually (January??)
