How is it that no matter how much you do, you have twice as much left? I'll admit, this past 2 weeks have not been very productive (in a house-chore sense), but for good reason. My mom, now affectionately referred to as "g-g" (that is a hard "G" sound).
As a sidenote, not related to house jobs, let me tell you how "g-g" got her name. When Grandma came into town, she was known to the Little Man as "ma-ma"... so seeing as how she was here for 2 weeks, we had to change that... it was WAY to confusing for mommy (also referred to as "ma-ma".) So, we practiced the "g" sound preceeding 'grandma'... by the end of 2 weeks, he dropped the '-randma' part and stuck with the 'g-g' sound.
Back to house jobs, which will now have to be short (luckily since it really isn't that exciting) since the Little Man is now stirring. Having no productive naptimes in the past 2 weeks has produced a monumental list of the chores to be done around the house... which have been divided among mommy and daddy. It rained the past 2 days, so weeding was much easier than usual in our clay dirt/grass mixture in our front yard. So, after weeding, opening the pool, doing dishes, vacuuming, and showering, my time has run out and I'll have to wait until next naptime. Daddy, on the other hand, is going strong. When he gets back from Lowe's, we might be able to enjoy some of our day! :)
